Young, Hot and British: Christian Cooke
The 24 year-old actor was listed in a 2009 VMan article as a hot British actor to watch.
On an interview in a September 2011 issue of Varon magazine, the actor shared his thoughts about the focus being on his nude scenes and his fine body.
“Well, it’s not what I do. I had a couple of scenes in a couple of TV shows, but the way the internet is, those are the sort of pictures that make it online. So that becomes the focus as opposed to the actual work you’re doing, you know? Ultimately you just want to focus on the roles. That’s what you do. I’m not a model, I don’t want to be a model.”
Cooke played Freddie Taylor along side Tom Hughes in the Ricky Gervais helmed 2010 movie, Cemetary Junction. Prior to that he appeared on several British TV shows- 2007 Robin Hood as Luke Scarlett, 2009 Demons as Luke Van Helsing, and 2009 Trinity as Dorian Gaudian, 2011 The Promise as Len Matthews. He is currently appearing in the Starz Channel series, Magic City playing Danny Evans, son of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character, Ike Evans. He will next appear in the film adaption of Romeo and Juliet as Mercutio.
Magic City is about the politics and criminal workings of 1960s Miami centered around the fictitious Miramar Hotel.
